On Sincerity to Ladies

Rule: The gentleman exists only as a medium to win the love and affection of a lady.

A gentleman must show sincerity to a lady and be cognizant to use only words that are appeasing to her ear in pitch and in combination. Through sincerity the gentleman is able to capture a ladies attention and begin the medium of dialogue. If lacking a desire to continue the wooing, the lady can at least rejoice in the continued high character and sincerity of the gentleman who remains honest, kind, and considerate of the ladies feelings, thoughts, and property.

Rule in practice: Upon entering a dialogue with a lady the gentleman shall state his heart's intentions clearly as not to mislead the lady. Stating that he wishes to court her further, she is free to accept or reject the offer of courtship. This renders the lady in control and in no fear of the gentlemans thoughts, words, and deeds.
